CRAFT BEER NEWS

  • Agile – Cans have arrived and the first canning run will be within the next week. Overclocked IRA will be the first Agile beer in cans with Lemon Buffer soon to follow. A new, hazy IPA coming soon will be the 3rd can release. Also, another batch of t-shirts and hats have arrived at the taproom. A big batch of English Barleywine to be brewed very soon to fill the 5 bourbon barrels that we have accumulated. The barrel-aged barleywine will be released sometime in 2023.

  • Gilla  –  Collab w/Agile Belgian IPA release soon  & 3rd Anniversary party on NOV 19
  • Grain Creations  –  Collab with Gilla this weekend  –  new releases upcoming are Belgian Dubble and Imperial Stout  –  just got an additional 5bbl FV to increase their production  –  Hope to be distributing next year

About Kevin Cowan

Kevin Cowan is a craft beer enthusiast who specializes in customer service, logistics and results. Kevin was born in Forrest City, Arkansas, but is a long-time resident of the Greater Baton Rouge area. He graduated from Denham Springs High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University. During his 28-year military career, Kevin earned numerous qualifications, to include Journalist, Combat Medical Specialist, Public Affairs Officer, Environmental Officer and Human Resources Officer. Through education, training and experience, Kevin developed a keen ability to approach any situation and produce winning results. Familiarization with and excelling in numerous career fields has allowed Kevin to become flexible; a keen ability to meet any challenge or development. Kevin’s passion for craft beer spiked when he was hired to run the warehouse for Tin Roof Brewing Company in 2012. That passion has grown over the years and now he spreads that passion by providing top-notch customer service as General Manager for Keg Solutions. In his spare time, Kevin is an award-winning homebrewer and serves on the board of directors for RedStick Brewmasters, Baton Rouge’s oldest and most decorated homebrew club. He currently lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Veronica and their Cocker Spaniel, Lil’ Man and their Chi-Weenie, Hershey Nugget.
